Michelle "Shelley" Lorenze
E-RYT500
Michelle Lorenze is a Yoga Alliance RYT-500 and ERYT-200 certified teacher from Morgantown, WV. She recently completed her RYT 500 certification from the Himalayan Institute. She teaches Vinyasa style yoga. Michelle’s classes are open to any level of experience. She creates a welcoming and loving environment in all of her classes. She loves to watch new students evolve and grow in their practice. She loves spending time with her husband, four daughters, , dogs and cats. In her spare time she loves researching her family tree, gardening and has recently taken up golf.

Donnie Murray
RYT-300
Donnie is a nine year veteran of the United States Army and WV Army National Guard. He found his Love for yoga at the Veterans Readjustment Center after his counselor suggested it to help with his anxiety and PTSD. It wasn’t long before he felt the healing benefits. He started teaching August 2019 and completed RYT 200 training. Donnie recently completed his RYT 300 hour training. His passion is to teach Yoga’s healing power to other veteran’s. When he isn’t on his mat he enjoys riding his Harley, camping, hiking and anything in nature.

David Ervin
RYT-200
David Ervin is a veteran, writer, and editor with a love of history and nature. He took his RYT-200 training through Moonbow Wellness and Yoga in 2022 with the initial goal of deepening his own knowledge and practice of Yoga. He’s found Yoga to be a source of strength, clarity, and peace. His classes challenge students to find stillness amidst effort as they explore the practice and its philosophical underpinnings.

Samantha Shaver
RYT-200
Sam Shaver is a Yoga Alliance RYT-200 certified teacher from Morgantown, WV. She completed her RYT 200 certification with Main Street Yoga in Fairmont, WV in 2004. Sam’s classes are vinyasa flow-based with a peppering of somatic movement, Qi Gong, and mindfulness practices. She loves to listen to students’ individual goals and needs as they begin or continue along their unique yoga journeys. Sam finds grounding and inspiration in nature, whether hiking, meditating, and rock-climbing in West Virginia’s beautiful state parks or photographing trees and changing landscapes through the seasons. She also enjoys spending time with her three children and five playful cats.

Haley Hoffman
RYT-200
Haley has practiced yoga off and on over the years and found a renewed connection to her practice in 2020. She completed her RYT-200 with & Yoga in 2024 with the intention of cultivating self-compassion, presence and contentment for herself. As a teacher, she believes everyone is whole and complete and encourages students to show up as they are. Currently a student of yoga therapy, Haley is deepening her understanding of the body’s innate capacity to heal and is passionate about helping people feel self-empowered to meet their goals and live the life they want to live—through the application of yogic principles such as meditation, breathwork, and functional movement.

Miranda Beck
RYT-200
Miranda is from Salt Lake City, Utah. She is an avid outdoorswoman. Loves hiking, backpacking, trail running, rafting, and snowshoeing. She is a wife and mother of two children under 3. She has a dog named Yosemite that goes on every trail allowed. Miranda is a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner working primarily in the adult intensive care units. While working full time during the COVID-19 pandemic finally decided to pursue her love and passion of yoga through Yoga and Ayurveda Center. Practicing both the Ayurvedic philosophy (Science of Life) with the healing balance of Yoga (Union and Asana practices) Miranda then taught at Momentum Indoor climbing in Utah primarily teaching vinyasa practices with continuing educations in Restorative and Prenatal yoga. Then moved to Morgantown June 2025 ready and excited to teach at Kindred Spirits Yoga!

Jess Lowe
RYT-200
ess has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in June of 2023. She loves teaching because it helps her to continue her own learning and connect with the community. Jess uses Nature to inspire her classes, often blending the power of the seasons, elements, planetary energies, and the energy of the subtle body to create a nurturing space for people to explore and deepen their connection and understanding of themselves & the world around them.
